At DSI, our business is anchored in privacy, security and confidentiality. Our scanning, storage facilities and practices meet or exceed all of the applicable privacy requirements as set out in PIPEDA (Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act) legislation. We also adhere to the guidelines set forth by the relevant associations’ acts pertaining to each business sector for which we provide our services.

DSI scans, stores, retrieves, transfers and shreds personal health information, legal, business, accounting and other types of records as a matter of service. Details concerning personal information are contained within records which we store. This information is disclosed only to those who directly store those records with us, or to those whom you wish to grant access or when subpoenaed by a court of law.

DSI does not use personally identifiable details for any other purpose except to provide clients or authorized third parties details contained within those records. This information is not transferred to unauthorized third parties for marketing, data collection or any other purpose.

DSI does refer to personal contact information made available on or inside records for purposes of positive identification and verification with respect to name, address, date of birth and phone number details. Such details are not disclosed to any unauthorized third party without prior written consent.

You have a right to know what personal information we hold about you and the right to request access to it. Upon request, DSI will inform you of the existence, use and disclosure of your personal information and give you access to that information at a reasonable cost and within a reasonable time.

To allow the processing and fulfillment of authorized information requests and customer service support, DSI also collects credit card information. Please note that ALL credit card information is removed from the server upon the completion of a transaction and /or when this information is deemed unnecessary to fulfill a customer enquiry or order.

DSI has put into effect appropriate security measures designed to protect against loss, misuse, or theft of all information which it keeps in its possession. DSI reviews its security measures on an ongoing basis and will undertake to improve its practices in this area if, when and where deemed necessary.

Information collected through this Website is not shared or sold with any third-party. It is used strictly for internal purposes.
